My current research interest is to study the role of specific proteins of the ocular renin angiotensin system that are known to be involved in the pathogenesis of Diabetic Retinopathy. Our goal is to understand the mechanisms by which these specific protein molecules act in order to develop effective therapeutics for this condition.
